This is a fanlisting for Jareth's Crystals from Jim Henson's classic 1986 film, "Labyrinth".
The movie starred David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly as well as a large cast of Jim Henson's creatures. Jareth (David Bowie) had a form of magic that allowed him to create large clear crystals at will, and fill them with whatever magic he wanted. That magic would be then disbursed to its intended recipient. One of his most memorable spells involved creating a crystal which turned into an enchanted peach, and giving it to Hoggle, a dwarfish creature who was very afraid of Jareth, who the gave it to Sarah (Jennifer Connelly). The peach containted strong hallucinogens which detained Sarah from her path through the Labyrinth. As she lay nearly passed out at the base of a large tree, Jareth sent four more crystals after her in the form of bubbles. These bubbles took her away to a dream in which she and the Goblin King himself were in love and dancing at a ball. In this scene, we hear David Bowie singing one of my all-time favorite songs, As The World Falls Down. As always though, she breaks free. I have to tell you ... if placed in a dream world where Jareth was in love with me, danced with me, and sang that song to me, I would *NEVER* want to leave.

Frustrated with baby-sitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah - a teenager with an active imagination - summons the Goblins from her favorite book, "Labyrinth," to take her baby step-brother away. Guarding his castle is The Labyrinth itself - a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah will have to outwit the King by befriending the very Goblins who protect him, in hopes that their loyalty isn't just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems!
